Meridian Systems Prolog Suite Version 2008
Prolog Manager, from Meridian Systems, provides complete project control by automating all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from project design to close out. By delivering in-depth project management features across projects and programs, Prolog helps both large and small organisations deliver their construction projects on time and on budget.
Prolog WebSite, from Meridian Systems, complements Prolog Manager as a web-based collaboration application designed for the extended project team, ensuring all participants, including the owner, architect, construction manager, general contractor, subcontractor, and suppliers, are well coordinated throughout the construction process.
Improvements to Prolog Manager 2008 and Prolog WebSite 2008 include;
- better performance, usability and performance
- updated user interface
- drag & drop RFIs
- contract centric potential variations
- efficient database management & simplified archiving
- updated to support Crystal Reports Xi
TILOS Version 6
The top reasons why leading engineering customers world wide choose TILOS as their preferred time chainage, linear planning tool include;
- Fully graphical interface - allows a natural way of planning by directly drawing on the plan
- Flexible viewing system that allows maximum customisation to your specific needs.
- Display the Critical Path.
- Import/Export functions from/to Asta Powerproject, Primavera & Microsoft Project
- Clash detection by both time & distance. Helps eliminate planning overlaps and mistakes
- Powerful resource calculation
- Base lining compares planned with the actual schedule
- High quality and flexible output
- Saves times and money. Client studies have shown reductions in planning activities of up to 50% therefore providing rapid return on investment
Asta Powerproject Version 10
Improvements/new features in Powerproject V10 include;
- Jagged Progress view
This feature allows you to monitor the project and keep an accurate As-Built record of the work undertaken. The As-Built record has, by definition, straight progress lines and all forecast work is in the future.
- Drag and edit existing links
If you need to move a link end from one task to another you can drag either link end graphically, rather than deleting the original link and creating a new one. This is particularly useful if the linked tasks are not close together as it saves both time and effort.
- Create and edit links via the spreadsheet
You can now create and edit links in the spreadsheet, which is particularly useful for larger projects where linked tasks are widely spaced and it is difficult to see the whole link.
- Navigate the logic and edit links via the link properties dialog
You can use the Links tab of the Task Properties dialog to navigate through the logic of the plan.
- Hide and show bars and tasks
There may be times when you want to hide sensitive information before printing off a project report and you can omit this information by filtering it out.
- Incorporate border files into projects
The border file around an Asta Powerproject printout enables you to display useful information both clearly and professionally.
- Summary bar level formatting
The spreadsheet cell font and colour, as well as the background colour for that row on the bar chart, can now be set for a Summary/Expanded task in the Project View. This allows the levels of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) to be identified in a view, to be consistent across views, and
only need to be set once.
- ..... and many other improvements.
